| How much does the Blueprint course cost?
Our full course is $1199 for new students. Blueprint: The Movie is $799.
When should I enroll?
There is no deadline for enrollment but students are encouraged to register as early as possible to ensure their place in our course. This is especially important for those students interested in the spring and summer classes, as they are the most popular and tend to fill up quickly.
How do I register?
You can register online or by calling a Blueprint representative. If you wish to take advantage of a discount, you must call to register so that we may verify your eligibility.
What is the refund policy?
-- For students enrolled in a full-length classroom course: students must notify Blueprint that he or she has decided to withdraw from the Blueprint course at least ten (10) business days prior to the first course meeting OR before textbooks have been shipped, whichever comes first.
-- For students enrolled in Blueprint: The Movie: books are shipped as soon as enrollment is completed and all sales are final and non-refundable.
You are not entitled to a refund if you are in violation of any of the terms outlined in the Enrollment Agreement.
How do I receive my materials?
Materials will be mailed to your shipping address approximately two weeks prior to the start of class via FedEx. You will receive a tracking email to monitor your package when it is shipped. Please make sure that someone is available to sign for the package at the shipping address.
Do I have to pay a materials fee in addition to the course tuition?
The course tuition includes all materials, which are yours to keep once the course has ended. While there is no additional material fee for any of our courses, there is a shipping charge of $26 for anywhere in the continental United States. Please call the office at 888-4-BP-PREP for more information.
Do I have to pay the entire tuition up front or do you have a payment plan?
We do not accept deposits as a method of reserving seats in our courses. You are welcome to pay in however many installments you wish, but you will not be officially enrolled in the class until the full balance has been paid.
Do you give discounts or scholarships for students in need of financial aid?
As a matter of fact, we do! Please click here for more details.
Should I do anything before my first class?
Students enrolled in a full-length classroom course with the video option have full access to all 16 lessons, as well as the Blueprint textbooks and course materials. These students are welcome to get familiar with the earlier lessons before class begins, but this certainly is not required or necessary. Students enrolled in the full-length classroom course without the video option are not encouraged to try to study other LSAT materials before class begins, as this will likely interfere with learning the Blueprint methods and approach.
Can I request a specific instructor?
Our instructors are all assigned by location so it will depend on the city in which you choose to enroll. Some locations have multiple class schedules and instructors and we will do our best to honor your request, granted there is room in that instructor’s class.
Where will the class be located?
The class location will be available on your student webpage which you will be able to log into once you have signed up for the course.
Are class sizes limited?
Class sizes are generally limited to 60 or 70 students, though this may vary by region and time of year. This is due to facility limitations and to allow us to provide more personalized attention to our students.
Do you offer a self-study program? Can I just buy the books separately?
We do offer books for self-study for $799. The books include written lesson components that introduce the best way to approach each classification of reading comprehension passage, game, and logical reasoning question. In addition to the lesson component, the books also include every question that is legal to license from LSAC, totaling more than 5,000 LSAT questions. Please contact us for more information.
Can I purchase a private tutoring package instead of taking the full-length course?
Yes. We offer a comprehensive private tutoring package in which you will receive one-on-one attention from one of our highly qualified instructors. The package is a total of 30 hours and the cost is $3,000. This 30-hour private tutoring package covers the equivalent material as our 100-hour full-length class.
We also offer individual private tutoring sessions for $125 per hour. You can also purchase 10 hours for $1000, or 20 hours for $1800. These individual sessions are only available to students who have enrolled in the Blueprint full-length course or have purchased the Blueprint self-study option, as it is difficult to effectively teach the entire Blueprint method in such a short amount of time.
Does Blueprint sign me up for the LSAT?
No, you must enroll for the LSAT yourself on the LSAC website at www.lsac.org.
How long will I have access to my online resources?
For full-course students, the online access will expire two weeks after the LSAT administration that the class is leading up to. For Blueprint: The Movie students, the online access will expire two LSAT administrations from the time at which the student signs up.
How do I make up a class if I miss one?
If you miss a class, you have the option of purchasing individual lesson videos that are usually part of the Blueprint: The Movie course. You may purchase individual lessons for $50, or you may add the Video Upgrade to your online account to have access to videos for every lesson and workshop in the course. These can be viewed as many times as you like during the duration of your course and are a great supplement to your live course.
Can I make up a Practice Exam?
Yes, all practice exams are included in the books that you will receive. You may download a blank answer sheet from the My Blueprint section of our site and take the test on your own. Upon completion, you will be able to input your answers on your student page and have your score report immediately.
Will I have a chance to ask my instructor questions?
Yes. There is a 30-minute Q&A session before each lesson. Additionally, there are 3 interactive workshops where students can ask questions.
What are interactive workshops?
Interactive workshops are designed to review and reinforce the strategies learned in class. They provide students an opportunity to hone skills from earlier lessons before moving ahead with new material.
What are intensive time trials?
Intensive time trials are four and a half hour practice sessions in which students will complete four actual LSAT exam sections under timed conditions, followed by a review.
How much outside study is required in conjunction with your course?
We recommend approximately 1-2 hours of independent study for every hour of in-class study to get the full benefit of the course. This equates to approximately 4-8 hours of study for every class. This may sound daunting, which is why we recommend students do not take the course until they are able to make the time commitment.
Can I transfer between course locations?
Transferring course locations is generally not allowed. We will make exceptions for students who may be taking our course over the summer in one location and must complete the course at another location when they return for fall classes. Please contact our office for further information about this policy.
Can I repeat the class?
You may re-take the course at any time for a reduced rate. The cost is $750 with a new set of books and $600 if you use your old set. Our curriculum is frequently updated so please check with a Blueprint representative to see whether or not you will require new books.
Where can I send gifts to my instructor?
Gifts may be sent to our head office located at 1182 S. La Brea Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90019. If you are sending anything perishable, please make sure to label your package appropriately.
